About

Chào! (hello!)

Welcome to my little part of the interwebs. I am currently a medical student in the US and starting the clinical phase (3rd and 4th year) of my education. The intention of this blog was not to plaster my life for the public to read, but more for me to reflect and make note of the copious amount of experiences to come. For futures sake! I use to blog throughout college and partly through graduate school (and occasionally reread it and laugh at the foolishness of my young self) and found it as a great way for me to connect with others and often, myself. The explanation behind the name of this site is due to my philosophy towards medicine. I am honored and grateful to be in a career that allows me to be a part of someone’s life in such an intimate way. Because of this, medicine keeps me humble and I desire nothing more than to continue to hear the stories of my patients and offer what I can to help them live the best life they can.

Thank you for reading! I hope you find my posts relatable, amusing, education, or touching. I cannot promise what I write will be any of those things but what I can promise is that every single word I write is 100% genuine. I hope you find what you are looking for, and if not, keep searching.

If you have questions or comments, please don’t be shy!
(:

Ps. There will be typos and sentences that occasionally do not make sense since most of the time I will be typing in a stream of consciousness. I would also love to keep a physical diary form but I type faster than I write so…hello WordPress! How 21st century of me.
